WEB INFORMATION CENTER
A Customizable Extranet for Home Builders
 Pragmatic
Software Company announced the release of a new web based extranet product for
the home builder industry. The product, named Web Information Center,
allows homebuilders to publish reports, pivot tables, and other content from
their existing Builder Management solution.
Web Information Center provides:
- Web Reporting - Allows home builders to publish reports via the
web, all royalty free. For example, builders can post Job Schedule,
Warranty, Purchase Order and Variance Purchase Order, or any other type of
reports over the web. In addition to the built in report writer, Web
Information Center can be used to display Crystal Reports.
- Web Analysis - Allows home builders to publish pivot tables over
the web. Pivot tables allow the builder to see critical information in a
summary format, then allows them to drill down on specific information to see
the details. For example, the builder may want to view all the housing
starts by community (or project), drilling down to see how many housing starts
took place for each month of the year.
- Document Sharing - Allows home builders to publish any type of
document into the document repository. This can include blue prints of
the homes, home specifications, checklists, contact lists, vendor lists, etc.
